Outline

To further develop global human resource, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology plans to introduce English activity classes from Grade 3,which under the current system, starts from Grade 5. Grade 5 onward, the Ministry also plans to upgrade the English activity classes to an elementary school subject.
This symposium aims to share knowledge about English classes and activities that teachers are expected to include in their classrooms, and encourage discussion on the topic by learning from domestic and international advanced cases.
