TUNING-AHELO Global Quality Assurance through Sharing Competence Frameworks and Degree Level Specifications
This event has ended.
The Assessment of Higher Education Learning Outcomes (AHELO) is an OECD project aimed at measuring what university students know and can do at the completion of their bachelor degree programs. The purpose of the Feasibility Study which took place between 2010 and 2012 was to examine if it is practically and scientifically feasible to conduct such an assessment. The assessment tool for the engineering strand in which Japan participated, was developed based on the Tuning Competence Framework.
Inviting leaders in AHELO, Tuning, and higher education policy as speakers, the symposium will encourage discussion on the issues of competence based degree program development, international learning outcomes assessment, and global quality assurance of university education.
