国立教育政策研究所 令和３年度教育改革国際シンポジウム(オンライン開催)
～ これからの世界における教育データの可能性を探る ～
開催趣旨
現在、我が国では、ビッグデータ時代の到来に伴い、データサイエンスが注目を浴びている。教育分野もその例外ではなく、それを、どのように子どもたちの学びに活用できるのか、教師や学校をいかに支援すべきであるか等、様々な論点が浮上してきている。
そこで、本シンポジウムでは、教育データの取扱いに卓越し、義務教育段階における国際的な学力調査の数々に取り組んでいるIEA(国際教育到達度評価学会)の専門家を中心に、その60年の歩みから得られた貴重な経験や知見も踏まえつつ、教育データサイエンスの展望や課題について議論を行う。

～ Exploring the Possibility of Educational Data for Sustainable Future ～
Outline
In Japan, data science becomes a hot topic in this big data era. Education is no exception, and we find various issues such as how to use data well for students learning, how we should support teachers and schools, and so on.
Therefore, this symposium invites specialists mainly from IEA (International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement), distinguished in dealing with educational data, and implementing many international assessments in compulsory education, and discusses future prospects and issues of educational data based on their precious experience and findings.
