開催趣旨

新型コロナウイルス感染症への対応を踏まえ、改めて学校が、学びの場であるとともに、子供たちにとって、安全・安心な居場所を提供する福祉的機能や、社会性・人間性を育む社会的機能も有する場であることが再認識されました。新型コロナウイルス感染症の対応を超えて、諸外国では学校施設という子供たちが集い、学ぶ場である実空間の価値がどう捉え直されたのか、学校施設を取り巻く諸外国の最新の動向も踏まえ、新しい時代の学びを支える学校施設づくりについて考えます。

Purpose of symposium

In light of the response to the new coronavirus infection, it was reaffirmed that schools are not only places of learning, but also have a welfare function of providing a safe and secure place for children, as well as a social function of nurturing social and human qualities. Beyond the response to the new coronavirus infection, how have school facilities in other countries reassessed the value of the actual space where children gather and learn? The symposium will consider the creation of school facilities that support learning in the new era from the perspectives of both children's learning spaces and spaces for teachers and staff.
